United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women (UMW) are a strong and vibrant fellowship playing an important role in the life of this church. Women of all ages are welcome to be a part of a circle of women who meet monthly. UMW holds the annual Holiday Fair at First United Methodist Church, an event enjoyed by everyone within the congregation and from the community. Several Circles (women's fellowship groups) meet each month at different locations, according to the following schedule:

This UMW Unit is actively involved in missions. One outreach is providing health kits for needy children in this community. On the second Monday of each month, members meet in Wesley Hall to cut fabric for heath kit bags, and make school bags for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). Please come join us!

Most circles meet in the homes of the circle members. Call the chairwoman to find out where a particular circle is being held this month, or check the on-line church calendar!

Nursery care may be arranged for any UMW meeting by calling the church office and the Nursery Coordinator at least one week prior to the event.
