Get ready for a world-class educational opportunity! On the evenings of Sept. 7, 8, and 9 Rev. Rebekah Simon-Peter will be leading a Bible study called “Reading the Bible with Jewish Eyes.” The event will be held at Longs Peak UMC starting with an optional pot luck dinner at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by Rev. Simon-Peter’s study beginning at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until approximately 8:00 p.m. The Monday and Tuesday sessions will begin at 6:00 p.m. First UMC is co- sponsoring the study with Longs Peak UMC, and we’re inviting every United Methodist Church in the Longmont area to participate! Rev. Simon-Peter was raised in the orthodox Jewish tradition and is now an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Mark your calendar NOW!
