Children's Sunday School

Join us on Sunday mornings for J.A.M. Zone (Jesus and Me) Sunday School.  We meet in the chapel at 9:00 for a brief gathering before kids in kindergarten through fifth grade go to their classrooms.  The kids are divided into two groups – k-2 and 3-5th grade.  A shepherd escorts them to their classroom and helps the teacher with art, music, games, science, video, drama, Bible boogie, cooking or carpentry.  Our lessons are a fun interactive way to explore the Bible.  All teachers, shepherds and nursery care givers and volunteers are trained in Safe Sanctuaries to ensure your children are always safe when in our care.

Preschool – children ages 3 (and potty trained) enjoy a special class designed just for them!  They enjoy veggie tales and activities to enrich their learning skills and the introduction of how much God love them J

Our summer program will feature a “one room” approach for kids preschool through 5th grade.  We’ll enjoy a relaxed pace including lots of play and special activities in a vacation Bible school format.

Adult Sunday School

Foundation Builders

A variety of material is used for this class, including International Adult Bible Lessons and studies by J. Ellsworth Kalas, plus specific topics that the members of the group would like to explore. This class explores the Biblical basis for our Christian beliefs and how those beliefs impact our lives in the world today. Led by class members. All are welcome to join us in the church Parlor.

Horizon

A lively discussion group that studies a wide variety of books or videos selected by the members. Past studies include: Discover Your God-Given Gifts by Fortune, Miracles, Life After Life, and “Some Folks Feel the Rain, Other Just Get Wet.” We are generally in the 40-65 year old age group, and reach out to each other and to newcomers in friendship and understanding. Led by class members -- in Room 104.  For more information, contact Gary Abbuhl.

Faith and Reason

A group of inquiring persons who strive to know God better by learning more about the Bible and the world around us. This group is currently using a video / discussion study that is focusing on Old Testament issues and information. The class meets in Room 110.

The Adventurers

For the "approaching-middle-age" crowd, The Adventurers offer a weekly Sunday School class, with periodic social events. In Sunday school, the group uses books and videos for Bible-based learning. Most of the social events involve couples and their children. Activities include hiking, games and swimming. Occasionally the couples meet for dinner or other activities without children. Please come down to Room 206 and become part of this fun group!
